01 / The Challenge
Intimacy under the strictest ergonomic constraints in consumer hardware.
ONEhrt shares real-time heartbeats between people across distance — an emotionally intimate premise running on a wrist-sized display.
Biometric wearable UIs default to clinical. This one had to feel personal without sacrificing the glanceability a watch face demands.
02 / Our Architecture
A UI kit engineered around three actions and nothing else.
BRNDVENTURE designed the complete wearable UX and a dedicated component kit: high-contrast type, explicit toggle states for privacy management, and touch targets sized for a moving wrist rather than a still hand.
Every screen was reduced to three actions — view a live heart rate, manage who can see it, send a short contextual message. On a watch face, anything else is noise.
03 / Systems Outcome
A reference model for state management on constrained screens.
The concept demonstrates a working balance between utility and emotional resonance on hardware that punishes over-design.
It serves as our reference pattern for adapting complex interaction and permission states into screen-limited ecosystems.
